Labels
The price of prepaid labels includes Registered Post fee only.
Available in boxes of 50 at a cost of $95.00.
Non Prepaid
Labels
Ideal when Registered Post prepaid envelopes are not suitable. The
registered post fee is $2.35 and postage is payable at lodgement.
Registered
Post Imprints
Ideal for large volumes of mail. The registered post fee is $1.90 and
postage is payable at lodgement.
Registered Post Options
Domestic
delivery confirmation
Simply obtain and fill out a delivery confirmation card and send it with
your Registered Post article. This card is signed by the recipient, then
postmarked and returned by post to you, giving you proof and peace of mind
that your article was delivered. Price: $1.65 per article
Domestic
person-to-person
This option provides a label denoting person-to-person delivery which is
attached to the Registered Post article. This must be specifically signed
for by the person named in the address. There are some exceptions where the
addressee is a minor or where the addressee will have provided for a
nominated person to sign on their behalf. Price: $5.00 per article

insurance
All Registered Post mailings for delivery within Australia include
insurance cover to $100. Extra insurance cover of up to $5000 per article
can be purchased for $1.05 per $100 or part thereof, up to the $5000 maximum
Registered Post International
Registered Post International is an added security service for letters and documents up to 500g to almost any address in the world. This service is only available by using Registered Post International Prepaid Envelopes.

Proof of
Posting
Senders who require proof of posting must lodge a Registered Post
International article at any Australia Post Office. The sender will then
receive a postmarked receipt.
Proof of
Delivery
In most countries, the person accepting delivery signs for the article and
the delivery office retains the record for 12 months. In other countries,
the office records the delivery but obtains no signature.

Restrictions
Australia Post does not accept a Registered Post International envelope if:
the envelope is not in sound condition;
the envelope is not securely sealed;
the envelope appears to have been opened and resealed;
the address is written in pencil or any erasable medium;
the addressee is a set of initials, an acronym or a codename, unless the address also contains a care-of-named addressee.
When sending documentation you must complete the declaration on the envelope. No other documentation is required. Also remember that no item requiring a customs declaration may be included.
Where can I lodge Registered Post?
Senders may lodge Registered Post International envelopes at any Post Office. If no proof of posting is required, you can post it in any street posting box.
