Read the following scenario, identify the different types of mail John deals with, type your answer in the space provided
John collects the mail from the Reception at Swaggies by 9.45am. He then sorts the mail and records the details in the Inwards Mail Register. There is quite a lot of mail today and it is taking longer than he expected. There are two large parcels that are taking up a lot of his workspace. The first thing he notices is a registered letter and one marked urgent. While he is filling out the register a courier brings in a large envelope. While he is up, John checks the fax machine. There is a fax for the manager. Two more letters are addressed to staff members and look personal. There are a number of letters containing important financial documents like cheques and invoices. One large envelope is torn and he needs to check the contents immediately. He feels a bit annoyed when he has to waste his time sorting out the junk mail. Some brochures from a supplier have been sent and they look interesting. With the recent anthrax scare and terrorist attacks he is wary of mail from certain countries. He is relieved that he doesn't have to deal with that today.
