Effective Communication Skills

 

By studying the cues to effective communication, ie body language, active listening, questioning techniques and the tips on effective communication, create a brief dialogue to suit each situation.

Students are to write dialogue in speech bubbles. There will be some and some in the dialogue.

 

NB: this task can be completed in Word using the callouts in Autoshapes.

Greeting a client at reception. The manager is running late and the client will need to wait.

Providing information to a phone enquiry about Swaggies Products.

Situation 3 Situation 4

You are obtaining information from a valued client who is unhappy about the last shipment of Swaggies goods.

A customer arrives at the reception desk - they don't have an appointment but insist on seeing the manager.
