Tips for Managing Time

 

Here are some ways to manage time more efficiently.

 

  • Be organised
have all the resources you need to hand, keep the desk tidy
  • Be realistic
keep timeframes long enough for you to complete the task    
  • Break the task into smaller parts

each task will have different stages which may be completed within different timeframes. This may make a large task more achievable

  • Take breaks
after every half hour have a break if you have been on the one task
  • Know time-wasters
identify time wasters in your office and devise ways of overcoming them.
  • Plan your time
use diaries, 'To Do List' etc to help plan your day
